Grate fresh nutmeg in a matter of seconds, then simply turn the container over to shake nutmeg over your drink or dish. Our Microplane® Grate-N-Shake makes it easy and fun to add fresh spices to your drinks and family cooking. Popular spices have much more to offer than pleasing scents--they each have unique health benefits that will add not only great taste to your special dishes but also a healthy boost. A half-teaspoon of cinnamon has been found to lower blood sugar. Nutmeg is known for its calming effects. Cinnamon is good for digestion. First grate, then shake, and then store the spice back in the bottom!

Care & Cleaning
  • (View grater usage instructions.)
  • Dishwasher safe.
  • We recommend rinsing your grater in warm water immediately after each use. Remove particles stuck in the blade from the back side whenever possible. To remove "stuck on food" from the front, first soak the tool in warm water and then use a cleaning brush and stroke in the same direction as the teeth.
  • Store with blade covered when not in use.
